Homes By LaBar was founded 30 years ago in Lilburn, Georgia, by Stephen LaBar. The company’s first project was the construction of a 1,000-square-foot detached guest house complete with a full bathroom. The quality of that project quickly gained the attention of friends, family, and neighbors, leading to requests for remodeling and renovation services.

Over the past three decades, Stephen LaBar has earned a reputation for quality craftsmanship by completing a wide variety of residential construction projects. Our experience includes home remodels, additions, siding, framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, concrete pads, driveway replacements, custom cabinetry, flooring, lighting, porches, bathrooms, and numerous other interior and exterior improvements.

Stephen is constantly discovering new solutions to issues that arise during the work process and is a dependable owner to both his clients and the production crews he oversees. He is known for his exceptional attention to organization and hands-on approach to management. Stephen acts as a liaison between the production and design teams and the client throughout the entire process of every Homes By LaBar project. Stephen is the eyes and ears of every project and is a trusted presence both to his clients and to the architects, managers, and contractors who report to him.
